I personally think that it is (at least in part) the marketing screw up. For one it might be a giant marketing screw up, or there's something they want to keep as a surprise or it might not bring many dramatic innovations (Sims 4 does seem like a giant, badly needed, convenience and graphics/art style update from Sims 3) or it is true that they are not as far into the development as they'd like to be and we will get another delay. There's various reasons why they might not show much of the gameplay. It just sounded like you meant the life mode of the finished product, of which we know next to nothing at this point. unless you meant it was ignored in the previews so far in which case you are right and I made a giant ass of myself. That's like hearing the name of a painting and from that judging on the quality of the artwork.Īnd anyway trailers can be VERY deceptive. That is exactly my point! We haven't really seen any live mode yet, so it's impossible to say if the game play of the finished product will be underdeveloped. Have you seen their trailers? There's hardly any gameplay shown, but they have gone on and on about CAS since the game was first announced.
