Might be worth a try before starting to take things apart. This forces the disc against the eject roller.

One member of another forum suggested this: One can sometimes get the disc out by placing a thin blade (pallet knife) above the disc and press down lightly whilst pressing the Eject button. The problem may be caused by a dirty roller - see

Others have had success repeatedly pressing the Eject button. Perhaps your solution at post 2 in that link is best, but Richard's approach at might help.Īs for problems simply ejecting the disc, some folks have had success by pressing and holding the 'Eject' button for much longer than would seem normal - sometimes for up to 5 minutes.
